KRUPALI JOSHI
LMFTA
she/her
Krupali approaches therapy with deep respect for human resilience and capacity for change. She believes that every individual does their best given their circumstances and works collaboratively with clients to discover and leverage their inherent strengths. Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in understanding that life’s challenges are shaped by a complex web of internal and external influences like systemic barriers, relationships, neurobiology, and cultural narratives. By blending systems theory, solution-focused techniques, narrative therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, Krupali offers a multifaceted framework for healing. In an effort to create an authentic and engaging experience, Krupali switches between being a cheerleader, guide, challenger and ally for her clients; she incorporates humor, art, games, and homework assignments into the therapeutic process. Krupali is a LGBTQIA+ ally and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Applied Psychology from the University of Mumbai, India, and furthered her expertise with an M.A. in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University. With over three years of experience as a school counselor in India, Krupali has worked closely with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering systemic healing and holistic growth. Her recent internship as a Couple and Family Therapist in Seattle allowed her to guide individuals, couples, and families through relational challenges, helping them experience deeper connections.
Krupali views therapy as a collaborative journey, offering unconditional acceptance, authentic presence and genuine care to her clients. She is passionate about empowering them not only to navigate current challenges but also to develop the capacity for future resilience and independence.
Practicing both in-person (Bothell) and via telehealth, Krupali supports individuals, couples, and families in therapy. Beyond work, she enjoys simple pleasures like thrifting, connecting with people and animals, experimenting with okra recipes, dancing, and learning new sports—always embracing the beauty of dynamicity and growth.
