GABRIELLE GELFAND
M.A. Candidate, Counseling Psychology | Bothell Office/Teletherapy
she/her
Gabrielle is passionate about supporting individuals whose experiences may challenge societal norms—for example, those with neurodivergent minds, such as ADHD, or people within the LGBTQ+ community. She integrates somatic modalities, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) into her practice to help clients address emotional and mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and disconnection, as well as process and heal from past trauma. Gabrielle creates a safe and supportive space for individuals, couples, and families to connect with their inner wisdom and build authentic, fulfilling lives.
Gabrielle is dedicated to helping individuals feel a deep sense of belonging while embracing their whole selves—not just the shiny parts. She works with her clients to cultivate self-compassion and self-acceptance, empowering them to feel more connected and authentic in their lives. Challenges we face, as kids or adults, often arise from the systems and dynamics we are part of, not necessarily from individual shortcomings. Thus in addition to her work with individuals, Gabrielle works with families and couples to understand and transform these patterns, improving communication and creating more functional and supportive dynamics.
Currently, Gabrielle is pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Somatic Psychology from Meridian University. Gabrielle previously earned a Master’s in Human-Centered Design & Engineering and spent over a decade working as a User Experience Designer at companies like Deloitte and Amazon, bringing a unique perspective to her therapeutic practice. In addition to her clinical work, Gabrielle completed a 100-hour Sound Ceremony training in Guatemala in 2020 and has since facilitated singing circles, sound ceremonies, and new moon circles. She currently hosts a monthly song circle and strongly believes in the healing and transformative power of community singing and sound.
