Chelsea is a Couple and Family Therapist Associate with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger and more fulfilling relationships. With her warm and empathetic approach, she creates a safe and supportive space for her clients to explore their emotions, understand their relational patterns, and foster positive change.
With a client-centered approach, Chelsea ensures that her clients feel seen, heard, and valued throughout their therapeutic journey. She believes that every individual and relationship has unique strengths and potential for growth. She recognizes that each person and relationship is shaped by their cultural, societal, and personal contexts, and she honors and respects the diversity of her clients' identities and experiences.

Drawing from a systemic lens, Chelsea understands the interconnectedness of relationships and the impact of larger systems on individuals and families. She helps clients navigate the complexities of their relationships and explore the influence of social, cultural, and systemic factors on their well-being. Chelsea believes in creating inclusive and culturally sensitive spaces where individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds can explore their unique experiences and work towards healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
In her practice, Chelsea integrates evidence-based modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Gottman Couples Therapy. Chelsea uses EMDR to help clients process trauma and/or for management of anxiety, depression, and other mood disturbances. Using EFT, she guides couples towards building secure emotional bonds and fostering intimacy. Utilizing IFS, she helps individuals and families explore their internal worlds and heal past wounds, promoting self-awareness and healthy relationships. Additionally, she incorporates the Gottman Method to provide practical tools and strategies for effective communication, conflict resolution, and strengthening overall relationship satisfaction.
Chelsea holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University of New England.
